I find myself in financial straits and desperate times call for desperate measures.
Wootube and 365puppy have been great fun for me, and hopefully for you. But all good things must come to an end.
Maybe one of you wants to take up the gauntlet of providing fun posts and decent photos to the world. If so, I have a camera package for you!
Please email me for a complete list of the items I have available. I prefer to sell it as a package. The Food Lady needs to pay the rent :(
I will miss you all.

Wootube! is now available as a book! You can order your very own copy here.
I hope it will be the first of many. This is a small sample of some of my favourite funny Wootube tales … I have another batch to publish, but I didn’t want to make the book huge / prohibitively expensive. And then I hope to move on to more serious book(s).
If you want to see an old lady run an old dog at the 2012 AAC Regionals, send money ... so I can pay someone to film without laughing at me ;-)
Finally, on your blog there is a spot to look at all the wonderful Woo shots. aaahhhh. beautiful.
Kat's Dogs
Just wanted to say hi! and confess that I have become addicted to Three Woofs and a Woo. It's true. I have begun recommending it to my fellow dog cult members at the dog park. I am working from home right now, transcribing research interviews, and I use 3W&W as my break time.

RDM, you get some of the greatest photos EVER. Just love looking at your blog pics - my enjoyment is much enhanced by your commentary, naturally, but the pics would certainly be enough on their own!
AK Dog Doc
You are obviously a very engaging writer, you take great pics, and your dogs... well words barely describe their wonder... have you ever thought about taking these antics and making them into childrens books. Something to the idea of 3 woofs and a woo: fifa goes missing. Or 3 woofs and a woo: look out hollywood. Just a thought.
SweetCeana
i don't want you to go back to work, either, because i imagine this means you won't be updating your blog quite as often! :(
waaaah! :*(
(i admit it, i am addicted to your blog - i always have it open on a tab in my Firefox window.)

Noooooo! Auction prints! Or something…selling all your gear will make rent for this month, maybe next (I have no idea how much your gear is worth or how much you have) but what then?
I've been in this position and had to sell my violin to make my car payment and it sucked. And I didn't even play it much anymore.
Good luck with getting the funds!
Add a pay pal tip jar!!
I'm voting for a paypal link. I'd gladly donate to keep reading your blog.
Paypal! I vote for paypal. I can't imagine having no 3WAAW or Puppy365. I pay for other entertainment that is far less redeeming.
tip jar please!
YES! to the tip jar. You can't leave us!
I demand a paypal link.
Paypal link, please :)
Can I also vote for a tipjar? I would be so sad to see you go! And to lose your camera equipment!
There must be another way…
I agree with the above suggestions – or take some ads for camera gear. ^_^.
Good idea Paypal link to all your photos Sheena many people would pay.. its worth a try
No! You can't do this. I have no idea what you would sell your camera equipment for but I am sure there are enough people like me who would be willing to contribute towards an equal amount to have you keep your camera – and keep us happy with your pictures. There is a job out there somewhere for you and you don't want to have to start over buying camera equipment when you get that job. Please let us pay for the pleasure you bring us.
Put ads on your site. Charge to email us pictures. Write a bloody book. Hang in there!
tip jar / subscription service please! I can't afford camera gear, but I CAN afford a subscription to WooTube!
and PRINTS! I can afford to buy photos, even when i can't buy cameras!
Tip jar vote from Texas!
Please consider the tip jar / subscription suggestions. I look forward to reading your blogs every day, and I would miss you and your dogs very much. What about getting more serious about pet photography and/or agility photography? I don't know how much you advertise that stuff, but put more links on your blog to let people know you do it. And, maybe you can make a FB page for your photography… If I was closer, I'd definitely arrange a photo shoot with you. Good luck, and I hope you can find a way to keep your blogs up and running.
I'd gladly pay to subscribe. Your blog is far more entertaining than any of the magazines I read.
-Boots' mom
I would happily pay to subscribe to your blogs. Please don't leave us Food Lady!
Tip jar! I'll donate to the cause! Or at least, if you HAVE to sell the camera gear, buy a cheap point-and-shoot. I know the pictures won't be the same quality, but it'll still be the same Food Lady, so everyone will be laughing too hard to notice.
voting for PayPal tip jar here too … would even do a subscription to this blog
Everyone else already said it, so I won't bother. Just know that I agree.
Oh no! I'm so sad–your blog is such a bright spot in the day. Good luck.
I think you should give your readers a chance to subscribe. I already subscribe to a political blog/website and a White Sox fan website and I would certainly do a monthly subscription to Wootube. For goodness sake, even the New York Times is charging for website content now, and your stuff is far more engaging and pleasant than anything in the NYT on any given day!
Everyone suggested a tip jar and I support that, but I think you should try to use your talents! You're Woo photos are great and you should be making money off them!?! just MHO
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach him to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime!?! Not exact but you get the drift!?!
If the idea of donations makes you uncomfortable, why not set up a webshop for nice high-res download copies of your photos? I could do with some doggie desktop images.
pay pal please…i live near boston so i can't hire you to take pictures of my dog…or anything else…but I certainly can put something in the tip jar!!
i can't imagine not knowing what is up with the woofs and the woo and the food lady!!!
TIP JAR
PLEASE don't leave us!!
Ditto!
I must agree with all the others. Especially Zoom. I have been camera-less myself for similar reasons, and I was plunged into a sorry state, not being able to express myself creatively.
Your camera is your tool for what you do; just like other trades have their tools they cannot do their job without, camera is yours.
Interestingly, a la Katherine's comment, my partner has just traded in his expensive camera gear for a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1, which he is loving and says does virtually everything his old system did, at a wee fraction of the cost. Just a thought.
Listen to your readership, FL. They are wise.
Ditto…sell your great prints!!
Benny & Lily
Ditto! Tip jar! I'd tip, and I am notoriously cheap. Wootube is just that good.
Adding my voice to the chorus of people demanding a paypal button. I cannot afford camera gear nor do I have a use for it, but I can afford to show some love for a blog that has given me so much entertainment.
The time and work you have put into this blog is just that, *work*, Food Lady. There is no reason not to get paid for it when your readers are clamoring to be able to give you money, and no shame in letting us compensate you for the work you put in here.
No NO No!!! Don't go! I won't survive the withdrawal. Please find a way to stay.
I concur. This blog has saved me from the stresses of veterinary school on so, so, so many occasions that I can't imagine not having it. I would gladly subscribe.
Do you have any idea how many people would LOVE to be able to capture shots like you do? You have a real talent. (It's not just good equipment, but of course that helps) Use your gift to sell copies of those awesome photos. You have a ton of fans out there waiting.
When I capture a shot I deem worthy of the Food Lady, I enlarge it and frame it! (Doesn't happen often because I don't have THE GIFT!)
Paypal please.
Please, try to find another way. Sheena, I think that is your name apologies if I have it wrong, you have inspired me not only with my own border collie but also to get back into photography. I would love to pay to subscribe to your blog. You get so many hits do advertisements on the blog or heck start a magazine or at least send some prints out they would for sure get published. Auction prints of other shots if you don't want to sell your dogs photos anything. You have such talent for photos and prose that I hope you can find away to keep it up.
I would happily subscribe to 3waaw and 365. Or put up a paypal tip jar. Please don't leave us!
Liza
No! You can't let the economy beat you!! I know what I'm talking about. I lost my farm and all my horses and had to sell all my gear, harnesses, carts, halters, blankets, EVERYTHING. It's not really worth it in the end.
Camera and equipment could somehow make you money! It's time to get REALLY creative… Write a book and pepper it with your photos. There is a place called CreateSpace where you can go and publish your own books. I've published one and am in the process of publishing another with my Aunt. YOU MUST KEEP TRYING!!!
I love your blog and read it all the time.
Dear Sheena and readers,
I have met the Food Lady once. I behaved badly but Food Lady was understanding, compassionate, supportive, she listened, and talked me through a very difficult time. She gave from the heart.
On another occasion, remember 'Little Man', aka 'Journey', and he needed expensive surgery and Rescue needed help. I donated. A second opinion showed he did not need surgery after all. I received an email from Sheena explaining what had happened and would I like my donation back. I've worked in credit for many years, and not once have I seen this honesty.
Sheena, you give and give. You make people smile with your blog and pictures. Making people smile is a gift. Your Rescue has given me the best dog ever, Sprouts.
You are a wee slip of a thing, probably 2pounds heavier than Piper, but you are all heart, and you make a positive impact on the people you touch.
Please let me know how I can help you in return. I don't need camera equipment just 3W&AW and 365 Dexter. I'm for anything – paypal, tipjar (wotever that is), auction, buy a picture, screensavers, or wotever you can think of.
You are a gem, a rare find, let me help.
Veronica and Sprouts
Sheena you've got the seed of a great thing right here. If Dooce can make a living blogging about baby poop and cyber stalkers, you sure as hell can do the same thing here by expanding on what you've built.
Dog lovers are a generous and loyal bunch and you've got the talent to make this work. You're a wonderful writer and a great photographer. I'd hate to see you sell the very tools that have helped show the world who you are.
Listen to your current fan base and throw up a Paypal tip jar and some Google ads to help get you out of a pinch and then let's talk about taking you to the next level. One of your silent fans happens to be a professional web designer and he hereby volunteers his services (don't you Dave).
By the way does everyone know that Sheena is available for hire as a photographer for your diggers? Here's some work she did for me. Check out her photography site and give the girl a call.
Sheena, seriously, please let us help you.
Food Lady, please start selling prints or taking donations. Don't take the Woo away!
I concur, I check your blog daily and always enjoy the posts. It is not just your great photography, but the 'stories' you tell to go with the pics! There are not a lot of blogs I would pay for, but yours is one! Please keep the cameras going!
kristy
You have a faithful reader in me over here in Minnesota, and I'd miss you if you go. I'd be happy to subscribe your blogs if I could.
Add me to the list of people who would purchase prints, contribute to a tip jar or subscribe to keep enjoying you and your dogs. I hope you'll at least consider it. I'd miss my TWAAW fix!
i am pretty sure saints needs another photoshoot sheena lots of new old animals to immortalize….bring your gear..a couple of days around here (maybe we can finally do a saints photobook!)and there is a good chunk of your rent. can you come this weekend?

Please don't go! My Aussie, Border Collie and Huskies would miss your blog as well! I HATE PayPal, but will break down and use my husband's account to keep your photos and commentary here.
I concur with everything that everyone here has said. I'd be so happy to subscribe, buy prints, paypal, anything!
You are a wonderful photographer and writer, and I don't think I could get through a week without my TWAAW fix.
Please don't take away Woo and crew…. please, please dont sell the equipment and take away a piece of joy in my life. I love your photography, your writing is great… and, I look forward to seeing what you and your dogs are going to do next. It's helped me through some pretty traumatic times around my place, working in rescue too. So, please, I'll subscribe, I'll donate, if I lived in BC, you better believe I would be making an app't for my dogs to have their photos done. But, please, find another way! We'll all help.
I invite fans to contact me directly if you have ideas about how we can help keep Sheena online and blogging.
I have a feeling that finding her paid webspace for blogging will not be the hard part. The hard part will be finding a way for Sheena to avoid selling camera equipment. She needs a cash infusion, and she needs a day job if blogging and photography don't pay the bills.
But if you have some way to contribute, please email me. This could be as simple as server space, or as grand as becoming a fully sponsoring patron of the arts.
Email me: Greta, at nickelsmumATyahooDOTcom
By the way I am TERRIBLE at organizing and managing so I will be immediately looking for someone to take over this effort to make sure it doesn't slip between the cracks of my mind.
I would also donate for continued 3Woofsing.
